PMR-30 Issues?
« on: March 04, 2011, 10:22:09 AM »
I went to Cabelas today and asked about the availability of the PMR-30 and the guy behind the counter showed me a letter from their corp office stating, because of "all the issues w/ Kel Tecs PMR-30 and they're refusal to answer our(Cabelas) questions, we will no longer sell ANY Kel-Tec firearms once stock is sold out". What are all the "issues" they're talking about? He said something about the pistol "melting down" after many rounds fired, due to heat. Now, I've never known these guys to ever know much about anything, but I saw w/ my own eyes the letter from corp to all their stores.

I'd be curious myself, as that gun is on my "bucket list".  According to a couple local gun shops, the few they have been able to get have sold like hot cakes, and the customers have been happy with them.

Personal opinion is a good thing, and everyone is entitled to one.  The hard part is separating informed opinion from someone who is just blowing hot air....

I saw a PMR30 in a case at a gun show today. It stayed in the case!!! My biggest issue was a $625 price tag on a gun with a $415 MSRP!!!

that a ridiculous price. Price gougers like that don't deserve to sell anything. What is the matter with people !!
