can anyone tell me who makes the pine ridge brand of scopes that are sold through cabelas and what they are comparable to

I have used these scopes at the gun range.  As far as your question about quality is concerned, I think that your question should be regarding "lack of quality" - they are not good scopes in my experience.

...MOST of the private label scopes are CHINA made JUNK and you MIGHT get one that works-but the odds aren't in your favor......this is feedback from other boards and from past experience with similar scopes at the store I managed for a few years.......HTH..good luck and good shooting!!!
