In the 22-250 M700 I currently use the 55 gr Sierra BlitzKing. I've shot coyotes and rock chucks with it out to 500+ yards and it does a nice job. Inside 250 yards i get no exit on a full size coyote but past that they do exit but damage is not that bad to the pelt. Never had a coyote go more than 30-40 yards after a solid hit. Inside 300 yards they are DRT.
In .223 bolt guns with 12 and 14" twists I've been using the Hornady 55 SX for 37 years with nothing but excellent results much to the demise of lots of coyotes. Excellent killer and limited pelt damage.
In gas guns (Mini14 & ARs) with 10 - 14" twist the Speer 52 gr HP is my bullet of choice. Again excellent kills with most DRT out to 300 yards and especially at calling distances.
In faster 7 - 9" twist gas guns and bolt guns I now use the Sierra 55 gr BlitzKing also. Excellent accuracy and at calling distances it is also very effective with DRT coyotes.
In the .222s I use the 50 gr Hornady SX or the 50 gr Sierra Blitz. Both are very effective out to 300+ yards on coyotes and PDs.
In the .22 Hornet I prefer the hornady 45 gr SP Hornet bullet. I've shot coyotes and lots of PDs out to 300+ yards with complete satisfaction.
