222 Remington
« on: April 07, 2011, 11:38:34 AM »
Anyone got ahold of one of these yet? Or have they even started releasing them? I use to have a Remington 722 in 222 and really enjoyed that rifle. Just curious if anyone had anything to report thanks again.

At least two members have had 222 accessory barrels fitted, no shooting reports yet tho.

Really interesting decision to chamber the 222. The more choices the better for everyone I think. Still I was surprised to see the 222 in the lineup. Not much different from the 223. Gives me hope that they might someday chamber the 7-30  Waters or the 348 Winchester. One can hope.

I like the idea of the 7 x 30 also, but with the 7-08 as a more marketable caliber it isnt likely.
