Looking for a Holster.
« on: April 16, 2011, 06:51:05 AM »
Howdy,  It's been a while since I posted here and everyone was helpful with lots of information.

I have a S&W 629 PC, .44 mag., L frame, with a 7 1/2" barrel.  I am trying to find a hip holster for it to carry when I'm hunting and just shooting.  Smith doesn't carry anything for the 7.5" barrel.  OK, to be specific I would like a leather, left hand, paddle style with a thumb snap.  I called Bianchi and was told that they don't custom make holsters any more.  I have been looking for a custom holster maker to make me one, but I have had little luck.  Anybody have any suggestions?

I went to Ross Leather's site and wound up going to Lone Star Holsters.  Hard to find a 7 1/2" holster. Thanks guys for the information.

BigBadGun on THR makes holsters for a very decent price.

Getting (I hope) just what I wanted.  Thumbsnap, lined, paddle, and left hand for 7 1/2" barrel for my S&W PC 629 from Lone Star Leather.
