Bedding Material

It's been over ten years since I bedded a rifle; back then Acraglass was the only option.  What do folks use today, which comes with somr form of colorant or naturally cures to a walnut-color?

Inthebeech,

Brownells' Acraglas or the newer Acraglas Gel is the way to go, you can get black, white, brown or green dyes to color for stock color matching.

Brownells' also has a newer option Steel Bed, which is Epoxy with stainless steel added.

Then there is Devcon Epoxy Metals.

All sold by Brownells.

I still use Acraglas the original.

I use the AcraGlass gel most. It tends to stay put a bit easier and provides a good balance of strength and resilience. The SteelBed is great for small jobs and both use a more convenient 1/1 mix retio..much easier to measure!! Most of the others I've tried tended to be a little too brittle..

I use twice as much Acraglas gel than any other compound.  Love the fact that it doesn't run and you can kick it with a heat gun.
If I agreed with you then we would both be wrong.
