Standard Hight of 03-A3 front sight

What is the standard height of the US Model 03-A3 front sight blade ? And how do you go about measuring one ? Do they measure from the blade base or when its pinned in ?

Smokeye:  Check with the Fulton Armory or the Springfield Armory as they both, I believe, produce and or restore those rifles.  Most front sight measurements I am aware of are from the bottom of the base of the sight blade (on Mausers it is the bottom of the blade that is drifted onto the front sight base, and the same with Winchesters) but I believe you can obtain this information from either of the two manufacturers mentioned.  HTH.
