Once I get my SRH (.44, another 2 weeks now, where is that damned bonus check??? ), I'll be adding a holosight to it. I plan on using the Weigand mount (
www.jackweigand.com). I've used the holosight just once, one shot, and it is very effective. It has no eye relief, so distance from eye to scope is not an issue, and you can shoot with both eyes open, a big factor for me as one eye is very dominant over the other. A fellow shooter I know has used one with his father, they both give it rave reviews. I've searched the net, and have yet to find a negative review for the things.
Thing is, take care of it, don't abuse it, and if it doesn't work out for you, you can probably sell it for almost as much as you paid for it. That's the beauty of gun stuff, most of it holds it's value pretty well.
