5.7x28 in a FN PS90
« on: April 14, 2011, 04:05:13 AM »
I picked up a FN PS90 this past weekend (what a neat gun) . I plan on reloading for it an was wondering if anyone else on here reloads for itor any pet loads for it? I know it's a finicky caliber to reload ie no using vibrating media tumblers. I've always used RCBS dies but on this caliber I've heard that they aren't all that great, if anyone uses them in this caliber have you had issues? I'd enjoy hearing thoughts and gripes alike about the round.

Go over to fivesevenfourm.com and read a lot.

Don't post until you have read everything or you WILL get flamed.

Lees dies are what you are look for.

TrueBlue powder
.224 bullets 40gn and under.

Be very careful!! This is not a round to start reloading with. .2 grn between bang and boom.

Yeah i've been over there and I really seem to get that gist of the fiveseven forum.

It is far from the first round I've reloaded for  I plan on single staging all the loads for it though I have a dillon I just don't think the dillion is powder system is precise enough but I will exsperiment as far as the dispencer goes.

The Lee dies from what I've found were onl a limited run production in that caliber.

You might want to buy these now. They are very hard to find. You really don't want the rcbs dies unless that is all you can find. Never used them but have heard a whole lot of negative feedback.
