Anyone seen or handled one of these?

It appears to be in direct competetion with the Judge.
I figured someone would jump in that market eventually.

Sounds like a fun gun. Wish they had more barrel lengths.

Not one of S&Ws best ideas. Unless you just think of dollars. Even then, can they compete with Taurus's price point and head start in the market?

I was not aware that S&W was manufacturing this firearm - I followed the link to review the specs... alloy frame, tritium sights, shoots shot shells + .45acp + 45 LC..... you can bet that this thing is going to be expensive.  In fact, I'd bet it is nearly double the price of the Taurus.  That said, if I was to buy this type of firearm I would buy the S&W version even if it cost twice the price of the Taurus.  I have personally witnessed two failures with the Taurus Judge - both occurred during firing and in both cases the cylinder locked up.

Is it some sort of rule that .410 hand guns be named after civic titles?  What next, the Assesor?  The Councelman?   Maybe a budget line called the Dog Catcher?
