those of you with a winchester 1000x know how terrible the trigger pull on that gun can be. it is very hard to keep a target sighted while pulling the 14ish lbs trigger. I opened the gun up, and filed down the sear, and rounded off the top. I then polished it off with a metal brush bit with my dremel. After that i oiled it up with some remoil, then put it back together. The trigger pull is now like 4 pounds or so. If you guys are going to try this, file a little at a time, then test the pull. You dont want to take too much off, because from what i have heard winchester does not offer a replacement sear for this gun!!
