45 Colt
« on: April 22, 2011, 05:50:39 PM »
My Stainless SBH went to spend some time with John Linebaugh, will have the free spin pawl, lightened trigger pull and cylinder throats checked and sized correctly.  This is my favorite carry revolver out in the mountains here in Montana.  She's gonna be special when she comes back, John is one of the great ones in my mind, for a workin mans piece.  Also, one hell of a nice fella.  DP

Well, she didn't spend much time there.  John said he didn't feel like doing much, so did mine instead of a longer job.  Maybe as a favor for my buddy Jim, don't know, just floored that I got it back 2 days after he picked it up.  Throats and chambers checked out as good to go, trigger at 3.5 lb, free spinning cylinder, new front sight and ejector shroud pinned.  Flying out today, won't be able to play until friday or saturday.  DP

I have a Bisley that I have done the free spin pawl and trigger job to my self. Nice improvement.
I have always had a 5 shot cylinder and a express barrel in the back of my head... maybe one day..

Hope you enjoy yours!
