even though my barrel is smooth and not rifled, it likes the winchester BRI sabots very much and will shoot 2.5-3 inch groups at 75 yards as long as you can stand to pull the trigger...

Carries and points like a dream, but kicks like a mule.... hence my comment on "as long as you can stand to pull the trigger".....

How did it shoot?  I have a burris 1x scope on mine and it is a sweet set up, but now being sidelined for my rifled Knight KP1.

havent shot it enough to know just seeing how much kick it has.Might look at getting it ported I have a mossberg that has factory ports and alot less kick.Sure explains the reason it doesnt look shot much.

I cast the Lee Key 12 ga. 1 oz slug. This slug uses a standard shot wad for a sabot. These are made for rifled barrels but shoot great in a smooth gun. They are cheap to shoot so you can practise alot.

If you ever fired a 37mm or 40 mm grenade laucher, you have to try some of the mini-slugs that were sold in 20 round boxes a few years back, the shell is about 1.5 inches long and has a 5/8 ounce slug, when you shoot them, you can actually watch the slug fly and hit the target, out of the TCR they are like shooting a 30 carbine.... you can even hear them hit the berm at 100 yards....

You didn't say, is it rifled or smooth?

its the rifled barrel I am currently looking for a good deal on a thumbhole camo prohunter stock figure that might help a little.
