After you download this program you might feel a bit in intimidated by the complexity which comes on the screen. I'll give you some data that I used for my .177 and a Crosman Premier. Plug these in the program and you'll be able to play with the ranges, etc.
When you get the program up just hit the New Load tab. Insert .177 in the bullet caliber slot, weight of 10.5, BC (bullet coeficient) of this pellet is .032, and my muzzle volicity was actually 826. All the other data really isn't necessary for now.
Hit Accept. Hit Ballistic Calculator tab. You'll want to chang distance to either 50 yds. or perhaps 100 yds.
Hit Re-compute. Oh yes, you'll also want to change the increments to 10 yards. Click from View Data to Chart (I think)
This program works only with BC's of greater than .025 so the lighter .177's wont work with this program. Give this one a go.
www.huntingnut.com/pointbland.htmI have calculated the ballistics coefficient of a mumber of pellets. If I have the pellet you want to plot and don't have the BC I might have it here.
