After you download this program you might feel a bit in intimidated by the complexity which comes on the screen. I'll give you some data that I used for my .177 and a Crosman Premier.  Plug these in the program and you'll be able to play with the ranges, etc.

When you get the program up just hit the New Load tab.  Insert .177 in the bullet caliber slot, weight of 10.5, BC (bullet coeficient) of this pellet is .032, and my muzzle volicity was actually 826.  All the other data really isn't necessary for now.

Hit Accept.   Hit Ballistic Calculator tab.  You'll want to chang distance to either 50 yds. or perhaps 100 yds.

Hit Re-compute.   Oh yes, you'll also want to change the increments to 10 yards.   Click from View Data  to Chart (I think)

This program works only with BC's of greater than .025 so the lighter .177's wont work with this program.  Give this one a go.

I have calculated the ballistics coefficient of a mumber of pellets.  If I have the pellet you want to plot and don't have the BC  I might have it here.

What a great little piece of software.  I was playing with it using some of the SS velocity data.  :]  Too bad it dosen't do under a BC of .022.

There is a very, very basic program that will handle BC's less than .022.

www.accs.netusers/drquick     Scroll down to the bottom of Dave's site and stop on MY SITE MAP  click on My Ballistics Program.  A very basic program but worth the time saving using this one.

Dave has another program available for download.  It's a DOS program but if you download it to disk and run from the disk you'll find this program well worth the having.  By the way, this program, PCB 1.8 can be converted from Engilish to Metrical   Look in Dave's MY SITE MAP area again for the PCB program.  Your mouse wont work but you can operate the program with you keyboard.  Can't beat the price.
