Case thickness?
« on: May 15, 2011, 07:11:55 PM »
I am looking at two tapered cases - 38-55 Winchester and the 375 Winchester.

The 38-55 has maximum pressures of 28,400 CUP.

The 375 Win has maximum pressures of 53,745 CIP.

Externally these cases look alike.

Does this mean the 375 Win uses thicker brass to manage the greater pressures?
