Stainless question

I picked up a 223 stainless for a good price not to long ago however it is the high gloss stainless.  can I just have it bead blasted for the satin finish or do I need to have it treated with some type of finish?

You could have it bead blasted.

You could also use other means of refinishing it.  I had a black mil spec finish applied to a stainless steel Encore barrel by SSK Industries and am quite happy with it.

thanks Grumulkin,

 I thought about having it treated but the other 14" barrels I have are all satin finished SS so I want to keep them matching if possible.  I know sounds OCD but I like they way they all look together.
