What rate of twist on current Hornet barrels?
« on: May 20, 2011, 04:51:01 AM »
What  rate  of  rifling-twist  is  H&R  using  to  build  new  production  .22  Hornet  barrels?

Is  it  the  same  as  for  the  .223  Remy  and  other  .224  cals?    THANKS!

Same as the 223, 1:9" for late production as stated in the FAQ, anything made late 2007 and on.

The Hornet has been discontinued as a complete rifle, but the 22" barrel is still on the acc barrel list which was updated recently, they had a bunch of barrels in January when I checked last, they didn't know if it would be continued or not, but it could be like the 357 Mag which was available only as an acc barrel for many years.
