7.62x39mm Handi
« on: May 20, 2011, 05:10:45 AM »
I ran into one of these at Glauber's Sports in Carrollton KY on their used rack.  It had a scope on it.  They are asking $349.  A bit steep, but if you just got to have one and have not found one give them a call.

Depending on the scope that wouldn't be that bad a price if that's what you want!

Good find!
My culled down Handi's are the 45-70, and then I have a few others to keep it company...357 Mag/Max. .45 LC/.454 Casull Carbine, .243 Ultra, and 20 gauge Tracker II.

Agreed.  I can't remember what scope was on it.

Hmmm, that's only 45 minutes from me. If it has a Nikon, Leupold, or Redfield scope, it would be worth it.

I lucked out and got mine new last year.  It shoots about anything I feed it accurately with no FTFs.  If I didn't have mine, I'd buy that one, even if  the scope was a Simmons or Tasco.  Except for Handiholics, most people don't put 200.00+  dollar scopes on 250 dollar rifle.....just us.  The big reason why I'd grab it is cause dey doan make em no mo.

Yeah, I have to agree. I would drive down there and buy it for sure if i didn't already have one.
