You work for them 5 months. After that you can keep the rest. That is indentured servitude (slavery). The master can squander it like he wishes because he is the master.

My fellow servile tax paying filth, there are many reasons why we are made to give money to the elite class of politicos. None of them are for us to question. Pay no attention to the man behind the curtain.

lakota, yep. Then to ensure all fairness, they'll label your home a crime scene, sieze it, and boot your family out into the street. Our nation has become what the people origionally tried to escape. It's notthe fault of our Constitution. It's not the fault of the Bill of Rights. I'm not so certain, it's even the fault of the politicians whe have bastardized the meaning of the Constitution. Perhaps it should fall squarley on the backs of we the people, for ever letting it get so far out of hand.

It didn't help that the majority voted for the greater of two evils either.

And I could argue that such is what usually happens.

Believe it or not, in the beginning, we did not elect presidents. Each state had an appointed delegate for each representative. They were to have no connection with government, nor means of profiting from government. Each delegate submitted two candidates; one from within the state and one from outside the state. The candidate getting the majority was declared president. If there was no clear majority candidate, congress chose from the top three candidates. Van Buren was the beginning of the true two party system.

I would also argue that we do not have a president as outlined in the constitution. We have a four or eight year dictator-in-chief.

For sure!! There is a way, but it would take a while to get it done and it takes voters to quit being sheeple and quit voting for the same old Masters of the Donkey and Elephant club, and elect those like R.P. "You know" The ones most keep saying are not electable! "Imagine that" ::)

It is in times of fear, such as wars, depressions, that the sheeple give up their liberty for perceived safety. That is what Rom Emanuel meant by the phrase "never waste a good opportunity". Then after the war/depression, liberty is seldom returned. And now, they must constantly work to keep you in fear, even asleep or the terrorists will get you. It is an almost perfect plan that should last forever or until the flawed system crumbles.  Gradual loss of freedom is seldom perceived.

Have you factored in the hidden taxes? Sales tax, vehicle tax, gas tax piggy back taxes to pay for construction of professional sports team's areanas, property taxes that the democrats in my area attempted to raise every year, they have even managed to add something called a "storm water collection tax" to my property tax. Too bad I live out in the middle of no where and the only "storm water collection system" is straight into the ground and it doesnt cost anyone one thin dime. They are even talking about some "value added tax"

Just another way to say "we want more money. Texas has a thing called "productivity" on farmland and probably all land. I had a little chat with the tax accessor a few years ago after the "productivity rate" went up and asked him how the productivity could be increased on a farm that had only made one crop in four years. He told me it made no difference, the state wanted a higher rate and if he didn't raise the rate the state would step in and take over the county system and raise it to what they wanted. To make a long story short taxes increased last year and are going up again this year. I'm back to one crop in 4 years again and if it doesn't rain in the next month it will be 5 years. My taxes on my little dirt pile are 150% of what they were when I had that chat and that includes the year when Texas reduced property taxes that didn't actually result in a reduction.

GuzziJohn

We do our own taxes for as long as I can remember.  I am paying more taxes than I have ever paid in my life, and giving up more paycheck than ever before in my life.  Ever....and I'm getting old.

Your charts mean nothing to me.....I know what I pay out with Fed, State, and city taxes TOTAL...I know what is left.  Less than ever before, and I make more money than ever before.

The party monkeys have lots of charts and graphs ans worthless such things...in the end what is real is your 14 trillion in debt, we have entire states and cities that have fallen, no budgets, and a spending sickness that won't stop.....and you come up with some stats for the party hacks to prove one party is somehow better than another.

Great....so now I don't pay as much taxes because of your silly little chart.  Sure...right...whatever you say.
Maybe you have a chart that tells me when to stop working and retire too... :o   I'm sure there is one somewhere.

I think I'm better off renouncing my citizenship...and stop paying altogether like some other people who figured that out.  You can go by your chart, and pay my share too.  I will still have all the rights you have too...cause that's they way you made it with your party stuff.
Being a U.S. citizen these days does not get you anything more than a non citizen...except broke...and a few charts and graphs floating around telling how much better off you are than years back.

We ain't that stupid...we can read our check stubs, and do our own taxes.  I have never had my pockets picked in so many directions as I do today.  That's a fact.

I will never do it again!  I will never vote for the lesser of 2 evils.  The lessor is still evil.  The democratic party is hopeless, that is why Ronald Reagan left it for the republican party.  If a good candidate wins the republican primary like some of the tea party candidates did in the last election I will vote for them.  If a CFR puppet wins, I will vote for a third party in protest.  If we all do this we can win!  We had some victories in the last election.

It's not chasing a hopeless third party.  It's standing up for what I believe!!!

45-70.gov you are right about the primaries being the key.  Now is the time to get involved.  If you wait for the election, you already lost!

The lesser of 2 evils keeps getting more evil every year. We need to get involved in the primaries and shift this toward the good. Until the time our savior Jesus Christ returns to earth we will continue to have evil in our leadership all we can try to do is redce this evil.

I know "1" guy that while paying his taxes put together enough documentation to present to a judge and have himself declared tax exempt. He uses a "permit to travel" paper to drive a car. He physically/legally owns nothing. Has no taxes taken out of his pay check. Everything is in a trust(?) or in his wife's name. His best friend was "asked" to leave the state in the middle of the night at gun point by men in black and driving suv's for doing the same thing. He is always fun to talk with. I still bitch and pay my taxes.

As this country falls deeper into debt, the lefts answer to it is "we need to tax the rich and corporations more, they are not paying their fair share"  Of coarse any more, their idea of the rich is anyone who pays taxes. Not once do you hear the left say we need to make deep cuts in spending. Its always someone is not paying enough taxes, like that would make any difference anyway. It would be like trying to put out a forest fire with a glass of water.
I don't know where Guzzi got his chart either, because I'm also paying more taxes than I've ever paid. Its not just at the Federal level. State and local taxes have been increasing, because they are over spending also. My local school taxes are going up 3.5 mills because the teachers union decided they don't want a wage freeze. (Waa,Waa,Waa, we want a wage increase) So what does the school board do? They raise taxes.  >:(
We have reached a point where half the population pays little or no tax. Isn't it great they can, and do vote money from your pocket. You don't have to strive, and work hard anymore in this country to better your self financially. Just say I want what he got, and our socialist government will start another program, along with a bunch of federal employees, and then you can get some of what he has.

An  economics professor at a local college made a statement that  he had never failed a single student before, but had recently  failed an entire class.  That class had insisted that  Obama's socialism worked and that no one would be poor and no  one would be rich, a great equalizer.
The professor  then said, "OK, we will have an experiment in this class on  Obama's plan"..
All grades would be averaged and everyone  would receive the same grade so no one would fail and no one  would receive an A....
After the first test, the  grades were averaged and everyone got a B.  The students  who studied hard were upset and the students who studied  little were happy.  As the second test rolled around, the  students who studied little had studied even less and the ones  who studied hard decided they wanted a free ride too so they  studied little.
The second test average was a D!   No one was happy.
When the 3rd test rolled around, the  average was an F.
As the tests proceeded, the scores  never increased as bickering, blame and name-calling all  resulted in hard feelings and no one would study for the  benefit of anyone else.
All failed, to their great  surprise, and the professor told them that socialism would  also ultimately fail because when  the reward is great, the effort to succeed is great, but when  government takes all the reward away, no one will try or want  to succeed.

Gee, its kind of like using common sense. Of coarse the liberals, socialists, and their like, never enter common sense into any equation. Could it be they just plain don't have any?
Those people who will not be governed by God will be ruled by tyrants.    Wm. Penn

I brought up something similar to this a while back when someone was talking about contracts and such, but nobody believed me.

There is something to this contract stuff, and you being a "corporation"  of some sort in the governments eyes, and something to this strawman thing.  I am hearing, and have seen, people put themselves in a trust...and take over control of "themselves"...using the government contract laws.  I have also heard the IRS is just a collection agency for the Federal reserve...there are ways to deal with them if you don't have a contract with them.  I have also heard that the only people under contract with the Washington D.C are the people that live within it's jurisdiction, and nobody else, they have to have you under contract to take your money because you do not live there.

Anyways...there is lots of this going around...I personally know of a couple people who took control of their "NAMES" and one guys son who has been studying contract laws and trusts for a number of years has not only been successful in taking control of his name when it comes to taxes, he also figured out how to use contract laws in his favor when it comes to a simple traffic ticket.  He basically studied the government laws that they use against us.....this young man has been practicing these things for several years, and talked his old man into trying it, showed him how...and it worked for him as well.

Anyway, glad you brought this up, because I've seen this going on...and I'm not really crazy.  Our government is based on contract laws...and they put you under a contract to get your money.  You are agreeing to be in contract basically.  Seems some people have figured out how not to enter into some contracts.  Best way that I have heard to keep your taxes, is to let them have your money first, and figure out how to get the collection agency (IRS) to give it back to you of their own free will using their very own forms filled out the way THEY recommend...that way, they did it...not you.  You just followed their directions using THEIR forms, and contract/trust laws that are the law.

I personally have not had the sand to try anything like that yet...but maybe if I ever have to go to court and they ask me my name, My response might be..."Your honor, if I give the court my name, am I entering into a contract with this court?"  and see what he says.

Contract and trust laws are very interesting.....if we can use them to keep what we have, it's worth learning.

We had a candidate running for state senate here last fall. He was constitution party I believe. One of his things was that non-prperty owners should not be permited to vote on issues that affect the property tax rate. I agree. But of course the professors in this district sent another democrat to Columbus to replace the democrat that was out on term limits.
Hi NSA! Can you see how many fingers I am holding up?
