cknight98, howdy! i really like 14" barrels. i've even learned to shoot it somewhat offhand with aid from my nylon sling. it works excellent, and i'm convinced i can hold the 14-15" guns/w scope just as steady as i could a rifle. believe it or not :wink:
my factory 6tcu has 10"twist. form loads shoot great with H335, and 80gr bullets. i got 2700fps with 80gr sierra sspb's in form loads.
in formed brass, i tried but just couldn't get H335 to group like it did when forming cases. so, now i'm using imr4198 with sierra 70gr blitzkings. wow! does it shoot! i still need to finish the load by uping the charge a tiny bit to see if accuracy stays or drops off. my barrel has the long factory throat, so the bullets jump a good ways to the lands. this gives me a longer OAL, and so far, i'm showing no signs of max. velocities are not showing to be as good as with H335, but accuracy is super!
form loads are great, i'd just use them for hunting, or whatever you need. do that until you have a stockplie of formed cases.
