been shooting the gem longbow scout put the bearcat up for awhile
shooting  the GT55/75's  and the trad only 500's. also the 1980 bear woodies. i stripped the vanes off. i wraped and fletched and they are shooting pretty good better than i am for sure. i shoot the recurve better than the longbow but i think im sticking with the longbow ill get it figured out someday
im making a set of 23/64th for the gem now.
 im waiting on my turkey feathers to come back in the mail to finish them off
im enjoying the whole trad archery thing

i got a good deal on 22 23/64th nos poc shafts 35 shipped and nock.tip taperred. i ended up with 2 matched sets that weighed almost  perfect
6 in 70# spine and 6 in 65# the rest were close but from 60 to 73# spine
should make good fluflu stumpers just saw 32 shafts for sale 11/32 24 not sure what wood and 8 poc
the guy says thier 50 55 not sure but thinking of buying them but i need to finish what i got here now
its amazing how fast you look over and theres like 6 or so dozen arrows there 
and a bunch of bows im hooked. still no arrows for the 25#er but im working on it
some one told me to get 40/45 spine at 31 for the oldhickory 25# pulled to 29 3/4

I shoot heavier spine arrows from my 25# recurve and they shoot good enough for what I'm doin. Give em a try! scout4<><
