Presentation Case - Restorer
« on: May 14, 2011, 09:33:19 AM »
Hello all,

I have the case from my model 29 but the blue liner material is effectively gone and there's small (quarter size) piece of the plastic liner broken.  I have this piece.  Is there anyone out there who does a nice job at relining / repairing these?  Hammerdown, you always give great advise.  Any ideas?

Thanks in advance.

There is a guy named Joe Cebull who does them.  Google his name and several links come up showing his work.  He is also on the smith-wessonforum.com  .    Here is one link to show some of his work.   http://smith-wessonforum.com/s-w-revolvers-1961-1980/131277-another-box-reflocked-joe-cebull.html   I have seen one in person and it is excellent.

Kevin,

Sorry to be so long in response but thanks so much for the lead.  I will definitely check him out.
