Oh Man!  Swarming mosquitoes, raging yellow (deer) flies, searing heat, drought, lightning and thunder, shirt sleeves and tee shirts, but the heck with those.

We're deer hunting again in FL at the end of this month!

I wish they'd allow crossbows on public land.

well good for yu landowner!looks like yu florida boys get to hunt quite a bit.do those zone have such a excess of deer population they are trying to thin them out?

Like most I guess...some places have an abundance of deer, you just have to ambush them, other places not so many.  The lands of the Everglades, a lot of Zone A, are abundant in deer, but there is a lot of area so the deer are not concentrated.  You have to go to where they are and it is a lot of unforgiving territory...making it the greatest kind of hunting available.  Nothing easy hunting Florida deer.

Field dress, skin and cut, roast on a piece of tin right in the sun. No stove or oven needed ;D

     Our season opens this yr.9/15 and I thought that was way too early, their may be ome spoiled deer m,eat down there this yr.   Jim
