Dropping antlers
« on: December 31, 2011, 01:22:45 AM »
A friend from Canada sent me this pic from a Spypoint Pro-X taken on Christmas Eve.  I was surprised to see Canadian whitetails dropping so soon.  I know here in Virginia they can hang on to them up into March.  I have heard of them dropping in late December and early January but figured up north it would be a bit longer.

Very interesting.  Good pics.  Seems early to me too.

My brother ran one over on a snowmobile trail on 12/28 once. It had to be fresh too. This was in Price co. Wis.
