« on: May 27, 2011, 08:11:26 PM »
I'm posting this here because I rented the crowning tools from 4 D Reamers,Fred was very helpfull and fast to ship, ordered on Tues. got it by thur., called and talked to Fred for advice on crowning he was very helpfull in walking me through it. Did a 22 lr. first came out looking pretty good then did a 44 and it to came out good started the 308 and pilot would not fit turns out to be one for a 303 brit. call Fred up and gets 308 in the mail same day, you cant get better service than that.

Good service seems to be hard to find sometimes. Sure glad they're a sponsor here!  Can you post pics of your crown jobs once completed?

Thanks, Dinny

Dinny I'll try, don't know how to pictures yet.

ratdog it cost around 23.00 for the pilot and 11 dig. cutter but I got a 22lr and 44 mag. pilot also, total it was around 40.00 with shipping. Being no mail today I'm hooping the 308 pilot comes tommorrow.

Don't feel bad yukondog. I was the same way. Had all kinds of fits trying to do it. Then one day it all just snapped. Easy peasy.
