New to the forum from Indiana

I am new to the forum and the world of the Handi Rifle. I just baught a Handi Rifle in 44mag with the 18.75 barrel. I am looking foreward to learning as much as I can about the rifle. I plan on deer hunting with it this fall. I am in the Indianapolis area.

Welcome to the forum and good luck this fall. That 44 will do it. If you are not a reloader try the Winchester white box 240 grain soft point ammo from Walmart. My 44 shot good groups with it at 100 yards.

Welcome, to the site.  From Dubois County area (down south).  3+ on the WWB.  Priced right, shoots accurate, and has put down every deer I've hit with it.  I shoot mine in a 22" H&R.  I've been thinking about switching to 357 max for its greater versatility, but I love the terminal performance of the 44.

Welcome to the forum.  I'm in Perry County.  You've come to the right spot here.  Lots of good info to be had from the guys here about the cartridge laws and available options.  Have used a .44 mag rifle myself and really enjoyed hunting with it, a perfect deer gun.
