I took it to the range today, I shot it both single and double action. Single action was decent but the double action trigger pull was just plain awful!
Anyone here have any experience/recommendations on improving the trigger pull?

Nice find!
I have a R73 also, but in the nickel finish. Yeah, double action sucks. But single action is quite nice. ..I only shoot in SA mode, so the terrible DA mode doesn't matter to me.
The only thing I can think of to fix the heavy DA mode is a lighter spring.

That looks really nice in nickel. Mine also shoots really nice in single action so that's how I'll use it for now.
