Williams FPTK.

New Williams FPTK sight coming in Friday!  I'm looking forward to it.  The other Williams sight I had on there was great, but this one will provide some adjustability for my different .45-70 loads I'm starting to experiment with.

You'll love it, be sure to order a knobbed gib lock screw, it makes elevation adjustments tool free.  ;)

I have FPTK sight on my 45-70 BC and a Lyman 404 front globe sight. Makes a big differance but order knobbed gib screw it's nice for easier sighting in, gib screw is around $12.

Brownells sells the gib lock knob for $8.99 plus shpg.  ;)

This is the first time messing with this sight, so this would be the screw that locks the elevation, correct?  I heard something there being a set screw to lock adjustments.  I may have to check this out.  It would be nice to have tool-free adjustment.

See the link I posted which is from the FAQs, there's a pic of Bernie's BC with the gib lock knob in place of the elevation lock screw.

Great sight, I have one on my son's .22LR Versa Pack and one on my .45 Colt Contender.

After the first trip, I remembered to add some lock-tite to the mounting screws.  Other than that, it is a nice sight.  The strangest thing happened, though.  As if by magic, I managed to guess a perfect 50-yard zero before I touched the first one off.  That's never happened before.  It seems to be well made.  I think I'll enjoy this one.
