Just looked thru the whole C. R. A. site, pretty impressive! Any one of these would make a fine Father's Day present!  ::)  Our Canadian neighbors gave a good showing of themselves with this site...and a Happy Father's Day to all the "Pop's", "Dad's", and "Fathers" here on the forum! BoomLover

The only drawback is that the company is in Canada and I am not sure
if there are issues importing reproduction artillery across the bborder or not.
Mr president I do not cling to either my gun or my Bible.... my gun is holstered on my side so I may carry my Bible and quote from it!

What with their prices being in US $, I imagine they probably have checked out that issue.  NAFTA was advertised and facilitating such free trade...??

You'd want to check the laws to be sure, but there is some precedent for shipping BP weapons into the US.  I know other BP gun manufacturers throughout the world export to the US (like the Indian guns supplied by Loyalist Arms (also a Canadian company, or the ones offered by Middlesex Village Trading Company - both of which are from the same supplier).  Obviously, these are handguns, rifles, and muskets, so the same rules may not apply, but they are imported without vent holes drilled, and then are supplied to the final customers in retail after they have been drilled.  A similar arrangement may need to be worked out, but Loyalist ships guns to the US from Canada that are fully functional.

All these guns would be pretty simple to import. Find the ATF form 6 on line fill it out in detail and send it to ATF,  They will in a few weeks send back. If you completed it correctly, it should  be annotated antique replica no license required.  Send a copy of that to the manufacturer and have them enclose it with the import papers when they ship it to he U.S.

If it gets stopped at the border by CBP just send them a copy of the ATF form 6 and they should send it on its way.

I only know two things about C.R.A.   One, they stopped all their advertising with  the Artilleryman magazine including full page ads and quarter page ads, so everyone I've talked to thought they had gone out of business.  Two, they did a nice job on the large, Banded Confederate 42 Pdr. Conversion Rifle (7") they made for Fort Fisher in Kure Beach, North Carolina.  The replica is a smoothbore.  Before anybody gets all twitterpated with anticipation about what delightful cannon they can deliver, a call to them would be in order.  As far as whether or not Canadian companies can deliver cannon to the U.S.  Come on!!  Has everyone forgotten completely all the Brass with Class cannon that have been sold to this group??

It's only the pick of the Army that handles the dear little pets - 'Tss! 'Tss!

Everything I've read and heard about this outfit would suggest that they sell well-made cannon and mortars. I believe that Terry C. has one of their quarter scale 12-pdr Napoleons.
RIP John. While on vacation July 4th 2013 in northern Wisconsin, he was ATVing with family and pulled ahead of everyone and took off at break-neck speed without a helmet. He lost control.....hit a tree....and the tree won.  He died instantly.

The one thing that you can almost always rely on research leading to, is more research.
