My new AR barrel showed up today!

I got home from work today and found a box on my back porch from Midway USA! In it was a 16 inch sporterized flat top DPMS barrel in 5.56 NATO! Hope to have the gun finished by the end of next week.  I'll try to throw some pictures up when I get it done.  I am pretty pumped.  Got to love those special deliveries!

Well------------------how does it shoot? Just reread the post, did you get a barrel or an upper?

It was a complete barrel/upper.  Have not shot it yet.  I put everything together and realized that the place I bought the lower parts kit from did not include the buffer retainer or the buffer retainer spring.  So now I am waiting on that.  Hoping to get it by the end of the week and play a little on Saturday with it.

The thing shoots awesome!!!! Cycles nice and smooth.  I will try to get some pictures up in the next day or so.
