Colt Delta Alliet.

A friend of mine got to needin money and offerd me his colt delta alliet 10mm. Its the "original" older series 70. Its staneless in great shape. He said that hed let me have it for 500 is that a good deal?should i jump on it? Thanks

I guess since its a good deal ill grab it when i see him friday. I do have a box of shells ill shoot them up then sell it ill letcha know spence.

at gun shows they go for about $1400.00 give or take a 100 .

Great score! Check the frame near the slide stop pin to see if it's solid or cut out.

If it's solid, keep the loads under full house to preserve the firearm. If it has the cut out,
it can handle full house loads.

Man, great pistol. Never picked one up when I had the chance (and cash...)

$500 is a good deal, would be easy to double your money at a gun show.

I have the old blued model like new in the box., I just seen one go at a gun show for $1200. and it was well used.

I quit shooting mine several years ago when I first read about the fram cracking.  I load so I down loaded a few rounds is I do decide to take her out I won't have to worry about doing her any harm.

Most of the stress, I have read about, is/was showing up under the trigger guard at the handle. They corrected this point by undercutting in this area to relieve the stress.
