Looking at a new hunt
« on: July 08, 2011, 06:33:29 PM »
I was so impressed with my first hunt for my Fallow deer and my dad and I love to Bow hunt so we are looking at a Jamboree. I know it is not a garuntee but we are willing to take a chance. So what are your guys thoughts? I am hoping of killing a hog more then anything.

Hey Ethan, interesting place. Some of the prices seem high (hogs) and some seem rather low (elk).  I could not find the info I was looking for.  How large is this ranch and is it high fenced?  Sounds like a put and take operation.

Has your dad, or yourself talked to these folks yet?  If I make a 2012 trip up the east coast as my wife wants, I could fit in a nice hunt while we are seeing other touristy stuff.   I find the idea of "hunting" a Texas long horn kind of sickening.  We have them all over the place around here and they are tame domestic livestock.
