Happy Fathers Day
« on: June 19, 2011, 06:07:20 PM »
Happy Fathers Day to all the dads everywhere.  I hope it was a great day for you all.  Now about all the cheesey gifts and trinkets that you got as gifts, why not buy yourself a new air rifle??  You know you want one or you wouldn't be reading this forum.   :D  So what new rifle does everyone want?

I got a new Daisy Red Ryder. The cocking lever broke, so I want a metal one. I wonder if these are still made in Arkansas? Also nice card.

Wow P.A. Myers, when in the heck did the cocking levers on Red Riders become non-metal??  I had one as a kid and as I remember the levers were cast, some what polished (at least well de-burred) with some type of plastic pads that rode in retaining clips when the lever was in the up position.  Not sure where they are made these days.
