25-35 for cowboy silhouette
« on: June 25, 2011, 04:02:10 AM »
Anybody use one? Will it reliably take the rams? Based on my running the numbers, it should work and be fairly flat shooting. Just looking for input from folks who have been there already.

I use it.  I load the 117 hornady bullets and I haven't lost a ram yet.  One of the best shooters that has won the national match in Raton a few times uses the 25-35.  I even loaded up some of the hornady 60 gr. bullets.  It will take the chickens, but it won't knock over a pig.

I'd say go for it.
