East TN isn't far away. They have a dozen or more hog hunting lodges in that area. Can't say that I've heard of any in NC tho.

Eastern end of state is said to have an exploding hog population. Also see some chatter about a growing herd in Caswell county.(North-central part of state) Just be careful about regs. as they've left 4(?) counties in western Carolina as still regulated as to season/bag limit. Good Luck !!
