Any further word on the Mitchell's Mauser Tankers? Boards are silent.

     I see that an old post on this rifle has been revived, but basically on the issue of drilling/tapping military actions.

     These rifles have been out for about a year, in .30-06, .308 and .243, but I have heard nothing on theses boards about them.   What's the story?   Did they flop?  Are they good or bad shooters?  What's the deal?

i looked them up on web under mitchells mausers it looks like they are steal selling look real handy but the price seem a little high whats your apinion.

  Yes, I agree.  Everything that Mitchell's sells seems to be $300 too high.  It's hard to see how they stay in business.
