Unintended Consequences
« on: October 18, 2010, 04:44:31 AM »
Who all has read 'Unintended Consequences' by John Ross?  I read it many years ago and have been trying to get a copy, but the cheapest I can find is around $85.00.
Thanks for the stump

For anyone interested,

Not the same as owning a copy but a way to read it none the less.

Finally finished this last night.
Despite going into great detail on some subjects I'm not really interested in
and the story could have done without, it is a good read.  Not sure whether
to consider it Historical Fiction or Alternative History but the use of actual people
and events combined with fictional characters was successful in creating a story
that moved along well, was entertaining and convincing.
Though I'm sure that already being convinced helped in that regard. ;)
I give it 2 thumbs up.  If you can spend the coin on a real copy I'd recommend
that over the pdf.  It was not near as enjoyable as a real book.

Thanks, PKnTX.  I downloaded it to my wife's Nook Color and will read it again at my leisure.  I still intend to get the printed version when it is published.
