It is my understanding that in cases before federal courts, the loser (plaintiffs in this case) pay all legal fees, to include those of the defendants (Walmart).  Since the U.S. Supreme Court refused to hear the case, it's a lost cause, unless the plaintiffs can come up with a different approach to this case, if that case is also refused (to be heard) or lost, their S.O.L.

After working for those low lifes about 8 years the discrimination I saw was for the women. The criteria for promotion seemed to be that you had to be female, 100 lbs overweight, and have perpetual PMS. The real  discrimination was against Christians. POWDERMAN.  :o :o

Problem is that too many politicians ARE lawyers. Our laws are made by lawyers, for lawyers. I think it's great that they lost all that money, even though they will find a way to get it back by cheating somebody else. They lost it through greed, I call it justice. Lawyers should be barred from politics, problem is you'd never find a lawyer to write it up. POWDERMAN.  >:( >:(

Lawyers are always fighting for the just cause. They are as honest as the day is long and would never take advantage of anyone. As some one said in a different thread- I have a hard time typing that even though I'm kidding. :'(

HEH. Don't know how ya got through that. A lawyer told me that if a man had enough money he could get a man caught in the act by several witnesses charged with sodomy, that he could get the charge reduced to following too close. POWDERMAN.  :D :D :D ;) ;) ;)

I doubt they're through with WM. It'll be a bunch of single lawsuits by the different women now instead of a class action.

I've had several dealings with lawyers. One was very pleasent and I feel I got my  money's worth. I feel I was taken advantage of on 3 occasions. One I was charged for a name change that the lawyers office made a mistake of during an adoption. I later found it it costs nothing for a mistake on a name  to be changed. Good bye 250 dollars. My father was cheated out of a little over one thousand dollars by a lawyer who flat out lied to my dad. My dad was 77 years old at the time. How a person can do that to and elderly man is unconscionable. Their cases should be rated as to the following- they get full price if they win and a small fraction of their fee if they lose a case. Why do lawyers have such a bad reputation . It's because they earned it. They have no on to blame but themselves. Do they care --Let's not forget that they laugh all the way to the bank.
