Ranger Rick is no longer in the casting business.  I found some discussion that some or all of his equipment was bought by a fellow in Arkansas -   mattsbullets.com.  I sure hope Tyler has a large stock pile of those 720 grain .458s.

I sure hope his products and their quality is not lost. Many here have come to enjoy shooting his bullets.

This is a 'too common' tale, a guy (or gal) does a good shoestring business and there comes an end to the length of the string, and it leaves us hangin'. I dont know how many casters have gone out since I started payin' attention, but it is a bunch. I dont much care for casting myself, so I can understand why they dont last, but like to have the moulds that work so Im not caught short. Imagine casting 5000 of this or 10000 of that to fill orders..........One guy said he got into it because he liked shooting, then never had time to shoot anymore. Another said it would make a great retirement business, but youd never really get to retire.
Still, I cant pass up a wheel weight layin in the street......
