$3600 per month for one welfare mom
« on: July 02, 2011, 04:22:28 AM »
I'm workin too hard...you probably are too. This is about the Minnesota government shutdown. It's not really a shutdown because over a third of government employees are working, including many in welfare functions. The employees who are not working get back pay when this is resolved and they are eligible for unemployment welfare after a week. In effect they get a paid vacation and a raise for the duration, just in time for the peak of summer. Try getting a deal like that when you are laid off!

Interesting. Third paragraph from the end. California passes budget less than 3x Minnesota budget, and with 7x or 8x the number of people.

When poastal workers are delivering "multiple checks" to one address and they suspect or know that fraud is involved they can not report it. I was told this by a retired route carrier that saw multiple such cases and could do nothing about it. ear
