Dinny, I submitted a rifle to E.R. Shaw for a quote and they got back to me pretty quickly.  I haven't done it to two different configurations so I don't know how the different options affect pricing.  It would be nice if they listed the prices of the options as you go.  I'm still considering one of these for an antelope gun in 6.5-06, but now that Savage is chambering just about all their centerfires in .260, the E.R. Shaw may not be the way I go. . . other than it would give me yet another '06 based caliber.

Thanks for the info, I agree, wish the prices were listed as you build. I'm thinking this would be a good opportunity to get a 6.5x55 with a semi-custom rifle made of modern materials.

Thanks, Dinny

My quote was sent to me with in 24hrs, I had failed to mention I wanted it in LH. I replied to the CSR that e mailed me and he said that was a 30.00 upcharge.  Since submitting Im thinking of changing some options. Ill let you know if they break out prices.

I contacted Chris the CS rep with a request to change from the Checkered Walnut to the Nutmeg Laminated. The Laminated stocks are actually about $30.00 cheaper, which suprised me a bit.
