Wild pigs in Jackson County
« on: April 17, 2012, 02:17:39 PM »
I went to Jackson County today to hike on some property over there.  The owner asked me if I brought a gun.  I didn't, and thought he was going to tell me to leave it in the car if I did.  He said it's for the wild pigs and coyotes on the property.  He doesn't allow hunting so don't PM me to ask where it's at.  I won't tell.  I just thought you would like to know there are definitely wold pigs in Jackson County.

It's too bad he doesn't allow hunting...let those hogs work over his favorite morel area or tear up his sweet corn just before it's ready to harvest and he might start to feel differently.

Wild hogs do not have the saving grace of being pretty to watch.  They are mean and nasty, so it's usually not long before someone that is overrun with them is willing to do anything to help get rid of them.

They're getting close, 3 more counties to the East and they'll be here.
