Which one would be best for carrying in front pants pocket.  I like LC9 but for ones who have both which do you carry most.  Is LC9 to big to carry in front pants pocket. thanks

I just recently purchased the LC9.  It will fit in a front jeans pocket, but the LCP would obviously fit better/be less noticeable.  However, I decided to go for the more powerful, more readily available, less expensive 9mm ammo over the .380.  If you use the flat floorplate for the magazine on the LC9, it is a bit smaller than if you use the extended floorplate (but you lose the ability to get your pinky on the grip).  Haven't fired it yet, but looking forward to it.  Hope that helps a bit.

I don't own an LC9, but a friend just got one.  I was out at his place this weekend, and tried it out.  Better handling & sights then the LCP, but just a little big, to me, for undetected pants pocket carry, especially with jeans.  Better suited to a coat pocket, or an IWB holster.  It was easier to hit with then the LCP, and the subjective recoil and controllability with ball ammo was not bad.

Lots of guys carry bigger in their pockets, but are easily spotted if you know what you are looking for.  When I am carrying concealed, I don't want anyone to know its there but me.

Don't on an LC anything, but do own a PF9 and P3AT, both of which are pretty much mirror images of the Rugers. I find the P3AT works best for pocket carry, and the PF9 works great in an IWB holster. The 9mm is just a bit large for my pockets. So for pocket carry, I'd go with the .380. It's nice to have both.

Is it just me, or is the front jean pocket not a convenient spot to carry any weapon? I recently checked on an LC9 at my local gun dealer. Apparently they're very popular! On back order for a while. She had six ordered and spoken for. She always has great deals. Her price: $329.
A buddy and I discussed this the other day. The LCP & LC9 make great IWB weapons. The purpose of the IWB carry is it's conveniently concealed for quick recovery and protection. How is that possible in your jean pocket? Not to mention the inconvenience of not getting to use your pocket for other things.

I've wondered about that too.  Sometimes I find both my front pockets too full even without a pistol in there.

I have the LCP an I carry it in a back pocket in a disanti holster. It's comfortable enough that I forget is' there all the time. I also have onef the bullldog cellphone type holsters aka looks like a cell phone case. both are very easy to get out in a hurry.

I have been carrying a LCP in a pocket all summer. It is flat and compact, and I have to remind meyself its there when I take off my pants! The sights are minimal, but that is expected for such a pistol. It hasnt malfunctioned yet after nearly 400 rounds of hardball or hollowpoints. Great pocket or back-up gun.

I have an LC9, and its my everyday carry and works very well in my cargo shorts or any others that I have.  I performed a wedding yesterday, and it was not a good choice for slacks pocket carry, but the LCP would have been because of size and thinness.
My wife wants a LCP, so you know what the next handgun purchase will be.
