fishing the missy near Lacrosse.

Just in case anyone wants to find bluegills I thought I might say they sure are biting on the Missy around Lacrosse. 10' water, 1/4 ounce sinker, 1" nightcrawler. Caught so many my kid just quit and fell asleep. They run 7'-8". Anywhere there is rocks or weeds along the shore.

Saw this and had to post.

The last time I went freshwater fishing was in LaCrosse in the east channel right outside my apartment building in 1982.
Fished everyday after work for about a month.
Never caught a single fish.

Glad to hear someone is catching something there.

7'-8", huh? oofta.

The difference between people who do stuff and people who don't do stuff is that the people who do stuff do stuff.

I fish the Miss. couple times a year, near Hagar City. Catch everything but bluegills. We will try bluegill next time.

Missy was on fire again for blue gills. Never caught so many in my life. A little smaller this summer for some reason. More bass though. Any rock pile or weed line and it will be non stop.
