Something was trying to climb up the drain pipe tonight and it scared my misses.  I shook the pipe and a big toad fell out on the ground.  I opened up the hose and gave him a drink of water.  I figured he was headed up the pipe trying to get the morning dew to drink it.  Weird but ok now.   CZY

Should get good services out of that toad next month when the Aug nights start to cool down and the Crickets n such try to find their way indoors.

We have tree toads (or tree frogs?) in our yard in Iowa. After sundown we often see one coming down a gutter downspout. Apparently they spend the day in or around the gutters although it seems we have better toad or frog habitat on or near the ground.
