Just thought I'd throw this in: I still think THE RUGER [for me] would be a full walnut stocked, stainless 77 in .358 Win. I'd even put a peep sight on it to keep the handling characteristics 'best', although my eyesight needs a scope for best shooting.

i thought i read somewhere that ruger made a limited run (very limited) years ago in 358 and 708 in the internationals. But they were blued.

Wonder if...the new .357 Magnum bolt rifle in a full length stock would scratch this itch?? : )
