Good News
« on: July 24, 2011, 08:30:36 AM »
In January, 2010 I was told I had stage 3B lung cancer, in most cases that is beyond help, however, I had just completed a stress test and told that I was in better shape than most 25 year old men, so I was a candidate for aggressive Chemo and Radiation treatments.  I had 47 radiation treatments, and chemo over an 8 week period, the Chemo was really rough on me, the doctor want to stop it in the 7th week, but I insisted we continue since I was so close to completion.  Six months after the last treatment I had a PET Scan and was informed the cancer had shrunk to a scar about the size on my thumb nail,  I had another PET Scan this past Monday and met with the doctor Friday, I was informed there is no evidence of any cancer cells remaining in my body.  I will get another PET scan in January, 2012 and if nothing is found I can consider myself cured.

I want to thank everyone for the “Knee Mail,” I am convinced it works and was a big part for my current condition.

I haven't heard that good of news in a long time.

You are truly fortunate indeed!

Glad to hear it.

This is the kind of news I like to hear. Hang in there, and stay well.

Jesus said we should treat other as we'd want to be treated... and he didn't qualify that by their party affiliation, race, or even if they're of diff religion.
