Yesterday (Sunday 13 November), what was going on with the "game stop" a little west of Des Moines on Interstate 80? I went past there (going east) about 2:45 PM and there was a sign saying that hunters needed to exit at the weigh station (at about mile marker 115). There were lots of law enforcement people looking down on the Interstate, some with binoculars. There were also numerous law enforcement vehicles at the weigh station and law enforcement vehicles past the weigh station which appeared to have stopped vehicles which may not have voluntarily stopped for the "game check". I've never seen so many law enforcement people together at one time. Anyway, what was going on? What was the purpose of all that commotion?
