Cleaning and lubeing the receiver group of your ML.
« on: August 01, 2011, 06:00:13 AM »
I have an older Optima and have been using 777 and  clean with foam cleaner first to remove any blow back soot and clean the "trigger group" with break cleaner and then spray the innards with DRY teflon spray.
I also have primer blow by and I am addressing the head space issue
I am converting to Blackhorn powder which should eliminate any future water use
I really don't know how to dis-assemble the receiver group so I have been using sprays to clean and lube the area which seems rather crude.

How do you clean and lube the receiver insides?
What do you use to lube the firing pin group?

Thanks for any insights
