20 guage ultra slug barrel
« on: August 07, 2011, 09:44:32 AM »
Well I want to send in to get the 20 guage slug barrel and wanted the heavy barrel model with scope rail. I see the accesory program has two listed. One stating it will be fit with a different forearm. I have a handi grip thumbhole on the gun now will that forearm work and if not what is the one they fit like.

If I understand correctly...  You have a H&R caliber unknown with a handi grip stock and want to get a USH 20Ga barrel fit.

The USH 20 Ga uses a 12GA barrel diameter and bores it 20Ga. This gets you a stiff heavy barrel that generally shoots very well. Most forends will work just fine with a 12Ga barrel. Worst case, the forend can be "opened up" with some elbow grease. This is easy with your stock set as the color is molded in so no refinishing short of some finer grit sand paper to smooth things out are necessary.

Good luck, CW

Wrap some sand paper around the shaft of a snow shovel (If you live somewhere that you know what a snow shovel is.) And then sand the channel a little and check for fit. Repeat as needed until desired fit is found.
